Young Achievers Early Offer Program - just as in 2015, the 2016 Program will offer students the opportunity to join the Notre Dame community before they even sit their end-of-year examinations. One of the benefits to the recipients has been that it has allowed them to face their final HSC examinations with reduced stress and added confidence. Students can apply under one of the following four categories:• Commitment to community and/or Church; • Commitment and excellence in cultural pursuits; • Commitment and excellence in sporting achievements; or
• Academic excellence. Applications must be submitted by Friday 31 July 2015. Candidates who are not made an offer in the Early Offer Program will automatically be considered for the Main Round offers, so there is no need to submit another application form. Eligibility criteria include apprentices of ATSI background, apprentices with a disability, female apprentices working in vocations which are not traditional for women and country apprentices. Additional eligibility criteria include apprentices working in a skills shortage area and experiencing hardship in both metropolitan and regional areas. Scholarships are open to apprentices who meeth the eligibility criteria and are in the first year of their apprenticeship contract at the time of applying.
