CSU's Dental Science application - changes
Universities: Posted 11-5-16 Deadline - No Deadline
CSU's Dental Science application process has changed. CSU sent this: we would like to let you know that the application process for entry to the Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University (CSU) has been reviewed. For 2017, applicants will need to complete the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT) along with submitting an application for entry to the course via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). We feel the UMAT will allow applicants to demonstrate their aptitude in areas valued by the dentistry program as well as giving students a clearer understanding of how their application will be assessed. UMAT results will be used to select applicants to interview, with offers made based on a combination of UMAT and interview score.

Australia’s Highest Paying Jobs
Career Choice: Posted 3-5-16 Deadline - No Deadline
Money. There’s a lot to be said about it, but if one thing’s true: we can’t live without it. There’s no reason you can’t be motivated by the salary you could achieve while also considering your passions and skills. According to the latest figures from SEEK, the average salary in Australia is sitting at $79,728. The upper echelons of management are seeing the heartiest salaries well above the average with senior management roles in mining, IT, engineering, construction, banking, and marketing all bringing in more than six figures. Unsurprisingly, these top paying roles all require a significant level of experience and in many cases, specialist skills and qualifications. However, if you do have goals to be a high earner in the future, these salaries can act as a guide when narrowing down the industries and careers you’re most interested in.

ATAR cut-off for the ANU Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LLBHons). In 2017, the ANU will increase the cut-off for the program to a guaranteed ATAR cut-off of 98. This means all students applying to commence the LLBHons in 2017 – either as a single degree or as part of a Flexible Double Degree – require an ATAR of 98. As a result of the change, students applying to the LLBHons will no longer be eligible for academic bonus points to be added to their ATAR. However, in line with the University’s commitment to equity and inclusion, students can still apply to receive up to five equity bonus points through the UAC Educational Access Scheme.
